Area of Study :
1) To educate and train students in administering local anesthesia for the
2) different dental and oral surgery procedures
3) Introduce the student to the basic principles and techniques in oral and
4) maxillofacial surgery
5) Enable the student to have intellectual and clinical skills in basic,
6) complicated exodontias and minor oral surgical procedures based on an outpatient population.
7) Educate the student in the basic principles of sterilization, disinfection and
8) Allow students to gain clinical experience in the physical examination of patients requiring minor oral surgery procedures
9) Familiarize the student with the procedures most commonly provided by oral and maxillofacial surgeons
