Course outcomes:

a. Knowledge and Understanding:
	1- Enumerate different levels of prevention 2- Memorize factors affecting prevalence of dental diseases 3- Recognize different strategies for caries prevention. 4- -Identify delirious oral habits, their effects and suitable management. 5- -Memorize factors causing malocclusion. 6- - List predisposing factors of dental trauma 7- Describe Extra-oral & Intraoral-protectors 8- Recognize different methods of prevention of dental diseases.
b. Intellectual Skills:
	1- Correlate intra-oral factors to risk of dental caries.. 2- Differentiate between local and systemic factors causing periodontal diseases 3- - Differentiate between local and systemic factors causing dental caries 4- - Select the means of intervention for prevention of malocclusion. 5- Select the appropriate preventive measure for every individual 6- Distinguish between signs of acute & chronic fluoride toxicity 7- Compare between different types of mouth protectors
c. Professional and Practical Skills:
	1- Give the patient instructions on methods of prevention of dental caries. 2- Guide the patients to the cessation of different oral habits. 3- Guide the patients to the proper management of different types of malocclusions and referral for orthodontic treatment.

	1- - Differentiate between different health education methods 2- Use different tools for health education. 3- Design oral health educational program
