Staff faculty members will teach you all about the growth and development of the head, the etiology of malocclusion, the classification of malocclusion, diagnostic procedures, biomechanical principles and tissue changes in orthodontics, the appropriate time for intervention in potential orthodontic cases, and preventive and interceptive measures in developing malocclusions.
The student will also learn the knowledge and skills necessary for the improvement, maintenance, and treatment of the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents; and the management of children with special needs, the prevention of communicable diseases, epidemiology, and forensic dentistry.
